Phumza Maweni is this weeks Sports Star of the Week as voted for by fans from across South Africa beating the likes of Dean Elgar, Daniel Cardoso and team mate Lenize Potgieter.
SPAR Proteas GK (Goal Keeper) had one of her best games against New Zealand Black Ferns last Thursday in the Quad Series Match. Even her coach Norma Plummer praised her heroics on the night in post match press conference.
Congratulations Phumza Maweni, on being the first female to win the award in 2018 and for keeping the netball flag flying high.
