The 35 year old is now the oldest player to win the Mens All England Club title in the professional era.
The Swis has now moved 4 Grand Slams clear of his Spanish rival Rafael Nadal.
This is the first time since 2009 that Federer has won 2 Grand Slams in a calender year after his triumph at the Australian Open earlier this year.
