Bafana Bafana have qualified for the Round of 16 in the African Cup of Nations for the first time (in a tournament hosted outside of South Africa) since 2002.
The qualification comes as a result of Mali beating Angola 1 – 0 in a Group E match played on Tuesday night. South Africa scraped through as the 4th best third-placed finishers. Bafana Bafana will now face he host nation, Egypt in the last 16.
