The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the season in the tennis calendar. On Monday 28th of August, the 2017 US Open will take place at the Flushing Meadows, in New York.
Key players that will not take part in this years competition are, Novak Djokovic, Stan Wawrinka, Milos Roanic, Kei Nishikori and Andy Murray all out due to injury. In the womens section, the inclusion of Sharapova reinforces the stiff competiton amongst the ladies.
