Brendon was the winner of the Nike Mercurial Speed Trials in February 2013 and was spotted by Kaizer Chiefs FC Development where he spent the last 3 years, playing in over 80 games and scoring more than 70 goals, including 40 goals and 6 hat-tricks in the 2013/2014season.
In November 2014, he was one of three South African FOT’s to be selected for the Nike Most Wanted Global showpiece at the Nike Academy in the United Kingdom and in 2015 our football brand team chose Brendon to be our football muse where he demonstrated the everyday life of the FOT.
It is with great pleasure to announce that Brendon has signed a three year contract with PSL club University Of Pretoria FC, where he will be nurtured under the watchful eye of former Bafana Bafana forward and the club’s head coach Shaun Bartlett, who is one of our Nike football ambassadors.
